Tina Christiano ’83 – Founder and CEO, Secondary Solutions, Inc
Faced with a problem, Tina Christiano’s immediate response is envisioning the solution. Her goal in starting Secondary Solutions in 1997 was to “take what’s gone wrong and make it right.” Beginning with her education at Norwich and developing a career during a time when women in a male-dominated field had to be the best at everything they did, Tina has always been driven to excel – learning first-hand how fresh, diverse views create problem-solving innovations.
Secondary Solutions is a multi-million-dollar business with more than 100 full time employees, 75% of which are women. Tina has developed a positive working environment that is both family-friendly and customer-focused. In return, the employees bring a fearless, creative, and dynamic attitude to every job they tackle. As an advocate for women, Tina is working with many organizations to improve and increase women’s opportunities across the U.S.
Tina is a founding member of Norwich’s Women Kicking Glass initiative and Dressing for Success project.
