Initially passed after World War II, the G.I. Bill continues to offer Service Members, Veterans, and their families several benefits ranging from home loans to education. The post-September 11 Attacks G.I. Bill built upon this legacy of gratitude. As a “Yellow Ribbon School” Norwich is proud to help our Veterans and their families achieve their educational goals through the G.I. Bill.
The Legacy of Learning Series put on by the Norwich University Alumni Association is proud to host “Student Veterans: The G.I. Bill and You” as a way to not only recognize the service of our fellow Alumni but to help them understand the benefits they earned through service to our nation. While many Veterans know about the G.I. Bill, it can be difficult to fully understand its earned benefits and how to leverage those benefits fully.
Our discussion will focus on education benefits associated with the G.I. Bill including the passing of benefits to the Veterans dependent.
